Nearly five years ago, when the pandemic struck, PEP was there for families. We launched free webinars, adapted our programs, and created lifelines to help parents navigate an unprecedented crisis. Since then, PEP has grown, partnering with schools, workplaces, and nonprofits to support thousands of families across Maryland and beyond.

Today, we’re facing a crisis of a different kind. Sudden funding cuts threaten PEP’s ability to provide the mental health resources and parenting support that families depend on. These cuts could not come at a worse time — as children, parents, and immigrant families face mounting stress, mental health challenges, and uncertainty.
